A message from founder:
My grandfather, Gale McMillan, invented the fiberglass stock in the late ’60s, pioneering the hand-laid-up manufacturing process for rifle stocks, a technique he learned during his time at Motorola. Despite the advancements in technology over the last 50 years, our industry has remained stagnant, still relying on these labor-intensive techniques. Recognizing this, I founded Greyboe to address three key areas: availability, affordability, and ease of purchase for stocks. Along the way, we also discovered that we could make stocks better. With advanced equipment and technology, we achieve repeatable quality, scale, and improved performance. By combining our technology with the brightest minds in stock making, we’ve created something truly special.
